Manuela Akot begins with a poem in response to the theme of fine print’s twenty-fourth issue, COMMUNITY.

“Don’t you dare to leave history a mystery
If I could take it back I would
But it’s happened
And it’s here
And it won’t disappear
So don’t forget.”

Olivia De Zilva on Tootles Galore by Aida Azin.

“I can hide behind the humiliation because my skin is light enough, because my thick accent can mask the foreign features painted across my face.
And I yearn for some acceptance in amongst this liminal vortex where I am grasped by hands across land and oceans, torn apart by the current of where and who I belong to.
Home, where I can simply float.
But where is that?”
