Katherine

Tamiko Arguile

Katherine Tamiko Arguile is an author and arts journalist specialising in visual arts and contemporary dance. She studied art history at Cambridge University and the Courtauld Institute, University of London. Her debut novel, The Things She Owned, was published in 2020 and shortlisted for the 2021 MUD Literary Prize, and her debut no-nfiction book, Meshi: A personal history of Japanese food, was released in 2022. She teaches at the University of Adelaide and is the owner of Booknook & Bean, a coffee shop and second-hand charity bookshop in Adelaide.
