Inneke Taal (she/her) adapts performative and linguistic approaches using moving image, sound, spatial interventions and performance in her visual arts practices. She has a Master in Fine Art & Design from Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, a Bachelor of Visual Art Honours from Adelaide Central School of Art in Adelaide, Australia and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama & Linguistics from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
Inneke is invested in sustainable ways of working for artists and values collaborative practices as an integral part of her overall practice. She is a member of tandem projects with artist Nicole Clift (AU) since 2019, and more recently, working as part of a collective trio with artists Angelina Nonaj (AL/IT) and Nayoung Choi (KR) as stük, as well as engaging in other performance collaborations.
