Mariam Ella Arcilla is a Filipina-Singaporean writer, editor and community engagement facilitator. Based on Gadigal land, she collaborates with artists and culture workers to turn radiant ideas into programs, publications, and resources. Mariam is the Co-Chair at Runway Journal, Co-Project Lead of Arts House’s Equity—Builder, and founder of Magenta House in Redfern. She has staged projects for the Institute of Modern Art, Powerhouse Museum Sydney, 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, Arts Queensland, and STATION. Her text is published in Memo Review, Running Dog, Art Guide, and VAULT. Mariam has ran ARIs, galleries, publications, and knowledge-trading projects since 2006.
